Fifth Grade Frenzy - Nashville Zoo

In July our church took a group of students who were entering or exiting 5th grade to the Nashville Zoo for a spend-the-night zoo encounter and some special treatment! It was a lot of fun and I am so glad that I was able to go with Keagan. It was a great time learning about the zoo's conservation efforts, seeing new baby animals in their animal hospital, and seeing some of God's amazing creations!! It was a fun experience to view the zoo through a Christian perspective, talking about the animals and how they were created with a specific purpose. It really gave going to the zoo a different spin and I thoroughly enjoyed that!

The zoo is built around an old mansion, who's owners gave to the zoo many years ago, with the intention to open it up and do conservatory efforts.

We toured this at night...pretty spooky!

nighty-night!! the lights were turned off, but no one really slept!
