Lordy Lordy NOW look who's 40!!! (part 1)

So MY TURN to turn 40!! And my friends and I still joke that we celebrated my birthday the entire month of February. Thus the "Part 1" tag in the heading. I am so fortunate to be surrounded by such amazing friends!!! Part 1 wasn't solely my party though...it was a joint party for my baby sister, who turned 25!

Soft Puppy (Meet Axel!)

Well. If you saw the video of the kids big Christmas present, then this post was highly anticipated. Meet our new family member, Axel!! Axel is a Mini Bernedoodle and it took a lot of convincing of Josh to get to this point! But we were super fortunate to connect with Bluegrass Bernedoodles, a friend of Keagan's parents own this booming business and have quite the set up! The kids and I wanted a puppy so bad, but Josh was just not on board with any pup. He didn't want one that sheds, but he also didn't want to spend a bunch of money. I considered the humane society, but Josh was concerned that we wouldn't know what we were getting. But buying a fancy expensive puppy was off the table. So we looked into the Guardian Home program of Bluegrass Bernedoodles and we got to take this stud of a pup home!! (stud - for real...he's gonna be a daddy dog eventually and we get to keep him as our family dog!) 

Isn't this boy just the cutest? AND we got to play with all his brothers and sisters when we got to meet him! What's better than playing with puppies? (Nothing. There is nothing better than playing with a bunch of fluffy pups.)

This is the one!!!!  We had two babies we got to choose from, and this toot stuck out to us. A sweet red pup! We knew immediately this was our new baby.
