Who doesn't love the 2000's party music?! (your answer doesn't count if it is a No...haha!) Back in February (my birthday weekend actually!) the 'Acey's and I went down to Nashville to the Nelly concert. It was actually a pretty awesome lineup with Nelly coming on at 11 o'clock (but he didn't come out til 11:30!). Stacey, Kaycee, Kasey and I made a big event out of the weekend and ate an an awesome Mexican restaurant near our hotel, then went to an underground margarita bar, then went on to the concert. The concert was fun, but it was fun because of the company! The sound system of the concert was lacking something (really it was overly loud and hard to understand words) and the fact that Nelly didn't come out until 11:30, with doors opening at 5:30, meant it was the longest.concert.ever. And to think that the majority of the crowd was middle-aged moms meant we were really rallying to get through it. People were actually falling asleep in the concert, including our sweet friend Kaycee, and before Nelly even came on the crowd had thinned out significantly. Despite the letdown of the actual concert, us girls had a great time and enjoyed a ton of laughs!
