Haha! I guess for people who know me, I am who I am whether I am in my town or Las Vegas. Of course, as with any vacation, more fun was had in Vegas because of company and no household obligations. But when those two things are combined, I have fun no matter where I am!
Our crew really had a big time in Vegas. Our last full day was eating at a buffet, walking the strip and seeing if we could get to the iconic Welcome to Vegas Sign (we couldn't...it seemed to keep getting farther and farther away...but we did make it there before we left the next day because our flight was delayed). Then we headed back to the hotel to get ready for Absinthe, the show we decided on and then went to a timeshare presentation to get $20 tickets! (four hours out of our lives we will never get back...but the show was worth it!) -- side note: Absinthe is absolutely hilarious and so much fun! If you are any bit offended by grown-up humor, this is not the show for you. Our entire crew thought it was the greatest and we were so glad we chose this show over the thousands of other options! -- After the show, we went on the High Roller Ferris Wheel. Then we danced and goofed off a bit before deciding we all wanted to go to bed at a "reasonable" hour (for Las Vegas).
To say we had a great time is an understatement! Thank you for having a birthday, Stacey!! We had a wonderful time being grown ups and a couple again, especially hanging out with some of our closest friends. Such wonderful memories and laughs!! And so.much.food.
The flamingos at our hotel (we stayed at The Flamingo)
The most expensive photo of the weekend. But worth it for the laugh, and I am pretty sure this picture sums up Vegas!
Inside the Bellagio
The next few pictures are a flower garden at the Bellagio - it was beautiful and smelled so good!
Stacey and Jarrett lost the most money but they also WON the most money!! I guess you gotta play to win!
I lost 99-cents on this slot machine. I decided to quit before it was all gone.
Josh kept playing....and losing. Luckily for him, I was not around when he inserted a $20 bill and lost it within seconds!!
m&m store! Check out all those delicious bins of candies!
New York, New York
Excalibur
This older couple was precious and all matchy-matchy. Stacey and I saw them and had to stop and get their story. We were hoping for a 50+ year marriage with an awesome love story behind it. Wrong! It was strange and they'd only been married a year. And they wanted to talk and talk and talk.........we had to find a way out of that conversation!!
Billy liked my coat a lot!
Our crew - and an awesome photobomb!
The Gazillionaire - the MC/host of Absinthe. Absolutely hilarious!

High Roller Ferris Wheel
Here we go! Up in the High Roller!
Parallel versus Perpendicular geography lesson about the streets of Vegas - on top of the High Roller!
That's a water in my hand. Promise.
On the last day we Uber'd to the sign! Unfortunately the Malone's flew out earlier than we did, and our flight got delayed. The line for a panhandler to take our picture was probably an hour long. But we jumped in and got our picture taken by the Harrods and then did the same for them and we were in and out in 10 minutes! And it looks like we are the only ones there!
