Honey Hill Farms with my Ivy-girl

There was a day back in the summer when the only child I was responsible for was Ivy. I can't remember why, but I do remember we were early on in potty training. I will get to that in a bit...  But I had always wanted to go to Honey Hill Farms to pick wildflowers and so she and I decided to meet up with Chasity and her girls and make a day of it! It was a lot of fun, with a lot of bees, but a lot of pretty flowers! And one little girl who pee-pee'd her panties as soon as we got to the farm so she went commando the entire rest of the day! But as you can tell from these pictures, she didn't seem to mind!

When you "stay dry" the rest of the day after the first accident you get a giant ice cream cone!

Summer 2020 photo purge

Hard to believe this was months and seasons ago...it feels like just yesterday! But here we are in the middle of winter, and I am looking back at these pictures and dreaming of these days again.

On our way to Holiday World with Corbin and Morgan Beck...to join others from our church! These three boys are known as The Three Amigos

While we were at Holiday World this verse-of-the-day popped up on my watch. I thought it was awesome because it is the verse that our church's children's ministry is founded on!

A new vanity for Maclyn...

...and a bit of jealousy for Ivy

A trip to Maggie's Jungle Run and Golf with the church

Our new Youth Pastor Cody letting Ivy pet and feed the baby goat

Adventures in potty training!!

Right before school started back up our church went to Venture River. Josh had to work so I planned to take the kids. Well....right before it was time to leave Ivy nearly chopped her finger tip off in a heavy metal door at church. This landed us in the ER. And obviously, she and I missed the fun. I am so thankful for good friends and church family who took the big three and made sure they had a good time.

Me and my sweet Ives, after a very long day...while the big kids got to go play at the water park. (By the way, her finger is OK and she doesn't remember already!)

Last park play day with Maeci and Maddox before school starts!
