Hard to believe that another school year has already come and gone! Keagan finished up 6th grade at South Marshall Middle. Finley completed 4th grade and Maclyn completed kindergarten at Benton Elementary. It was kind of a weird ending for both boys - school just kinda ended! No awards ceremony, no fanfare. They went to school on their last day and that was that. But before Finn finished up, he participated in his school talent show called Showtime! He and two of his buddies did a comedy routine, that all of us moms tried to discourage them from doing. The boys had to audition for the show, and they did but they did not prepare at all, no jokes and no script. Somehow they made it into the show lineup. Not sure how, they may have been desperate. But I'm glad Mr. Durham, the music teacher, took a chance on these boys because it was a great performance!
The day after Finn's Showtime debut, Maclyn had her kindergarten promotion. It was precious! Another sweet kindergarten year with Ms. Denise!
