I have mentioned how much I love the preschool that the boys attend. These teachers go above and beyond to provide a great learning environment and always have fun events and parties. One such event is the end of the year field trip to Maggie's Jungle Golf and then the park for lunch. We didn't get to do this last year because of rain and I was concerned that it would get rained out again this year (tis the Spring season in W.Ky). Keagan and Finn were so so so excited about this field trip and pretty much talked about it daily!
When we got to Maggie's we saw Ms. Mallory, our new babysitter. She was there helping with her nephews and while the boys were thrilled to see her, Finn played it cool and wouldn't acknowledge her to her face!!!! She finally scooped him up and made him talk to her. Then he couldn't leave her side. Funny kid.
This big metal flamingo was the perfect photo-prop as we awaited the events of the day!

4/5 year old classes
First thing, before the kids got to go on the "jungle run," was sno-cones! And it was about 60 degrees and cloudy. Not my idea of a sno-cone day, but the boys didn't seem to notice!
Now, Maggie's is two-part fun: there is miniature golf AND an area where you can see animals. The boys thought we would be golfing (I did, too, at first) but the field trip was just the animals. They were not disappointed, but it took a lot of redirection to get them to understand what was going on!
A new baby donkey!!! Who doesn't love a baby animal?!
After Maggie's we met at a park in town and ate a picnic lunch then the kids played and ran and screamed and just had a ball with all their friends on the playground equipment. It was fun to watch the boys interact with their friends and just have a great time.
