Ten Blessings

Back to our weekend in Louisville/Lexington...

After the Color Run we loaded up the fam and headed to Lexington. After settling into our hotel room we headed over to the Burns' for a picnic with old buddies and all of our kids. We also had to get our "triplets" together since it had been 7 months since we had seen each other. They have changed so much!! All together there were 10 children, five years old and younger, and 10 adults. My how times have changed in the get-together department!! Of course since Lindsy and her brood came from North Carolina and we came from western KY and it had been forever since we had all been together, the cameras were clicking!!
(isn't this color fun?? Yes, I posted a picture of my green toes...don't judge. and my toes are actually stained from the color run that morning.)

Prepare yourself for the cuteness of our "triplets"....they are 10 months old in these pictures!! And I've included a picture from the last get together in Lexington.

Ten Precious Blessings, from L to R: Kennedy, Avery, Greyson Taylor...Keagan and Finley Owens...Caleb Meeker...Eli and Emalyn Motsch...Adalyn and Cayden Burns.
And what it looked like trying to get all the kids together....
Everyone! I LOVE this picture so much...I love that the next time we will get together there will be more (Jes Meeker is expecting another!)...babies make this world go 'round.
We had such a wonderful time with these friends and their babies. I cherish our get-togethers with these far-away, wonderful people. I love even more that we can pick right up in conversation as if there were no miles or months separating us. I miss these people. I miss these get-togethers. I am excited about the next one, whenever that will be.

Before I "sign off" I leave you with Keagan's reaction to a getting to sleep on his very own (roll-away) bed in the hotel in Lexington. Because it was a roll-away, the mattress was strapped onto the frame for transport, well Keagan thought this was pretty neat and kept saying "Daddy, buckle me!" So Josh obliged...and it was pretty funny!!
