final boating days of 2018

This summer didn't give us much opportunity for boating, and it kind of makes me sad. But at the same time I recognize that this is just the season of life we are in. But at the same time, we cherished the few times we were able to go out on the lake.  Here are the last two boating adventures. Ivy did phenomenal and the rest of the kids thoroughly enjoyed being carefree on Kentucky Lake for the day/evening.

Our very last 2018 boating adventure was an evening ride to supper at The Thirsty Turtle with Gamma and Poppy. The kids absolutely adore having them come on the boat with us and Keagan and Finn typically wear Gamma out with stories and incessant talking, except Finn must have had a long day at kindergarten because he fell asleep on this boat ride!
