Supplies: tissue, saline nose drops, sucker, happy baby.
1) Get a happy baby (this particular baby is happy, he would just rather keep his boogies in his nose on this particular evening)
2) Put saline drops in nose. Watch baby make weird faces.
3) Insert sucker into nose with the bulb depressed. You don't have to stick the tip far in his nostril to be effective. In fact, it's best you don't because you will just upset the previously happy baby and you won't get the boogie. 4) Release pressure on bulb. Watch baby's eyes widen.
5) Squeeze out boogie onto tissue.
6) Show anyone and everyone your infant's GIANT boog and remark how amazing it is this came out of his nose! (don't forget to talk about this with your childless friends on evening walks, they truly appreciate it)
Sorry, I forgot to take a pic of the most recent boogie...will hook you up next time because I am certain you want to see it!!
7) Watch baby smile because his nose is clean and he can breathe again!
Voila! Successful removal of boogers.
Sad, I know. But it is such a part of our day that I felt the need to share it with you. I only wish I had taken a pic of the prize...but I guess you'll have to use your imagination! Hahaha!
