In June we traveled to Smyrna, TN, to watch my brother fly in an airshow. The weather wasn't so great but we had a great time! The Malones joined us for Friday and Saturday and then we stayed around Sunday to actually see Wes fly (Friday's practice was brief and we barely made it in time to see the Blues in the sky and then lightening caused them to land. Saturday's show started off great - but just as soon as the Blue Angels were about to take off, lightening struck nearby and the show was cancelled. Sunday was a perfect show and I got to hug my brother's neck! I also got to have dinner with Jessie, a good friend from high school.
