Winter Randomness (picture dump)

Finn's 5th grade Wax Museum assignment - he chose the famous Brazilian soccer player Pelé...

...so did two of his other soccer buddies! ha

Pelé and Amelia Earhart (Addy Spears)

basketball will wear a girl out!

Finn randomly matched the girls for church and then requested a picture!

My boys at the Gifted and Talented Male Conference

Happy 2nd Birthday Axel!

Beverage prep for Friendsgiving!

Missing Kasey in this pic - she was busy with a family matter...but she did come back!

trying to be like the teenagers - but we aren't as good!

Josh got him a big'n!

Ivy with her balloon float in the Kindergarten Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade - I don't think she knew what she was doing in school until she saw it on TV!

Happy Thanksgiving from my beautiful babies!

Finn was invited to play indoor soccer with a new team - and they surprised the kids with brand new (free!) uniforms that even had their names on them! What a cool blessing!

the kids after receiving their uniforms after a practice - they had to try them on and get a picture!

SO proud that he had to try it on with the shorts and socks when we got home1

and then my big boy fell asleep in his new uniform!

it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Little girl Christmas fingernails

walked out to get something out of the van - had to get this fluffy thing out too!

indoor soccer! like hockey but with "grass"

Tuck and Finn

snuggles with Axel

this pup is so loved by his kids

new team and a new coach (Coach Will - back to us and arms around the kids shoulders) who already has a bunch of little fans

a SUPER excited Finn who asked to sleep in the bed when Dad had to work an overnight shift during the weekend

this pup - he is SUCH a lover!

Charcuterie board I made for Stacey's birthday celebration on NYE

the kids got into Twister for a minute...

these kids are growing up on us!

it may be the camera angle - but probably not: our family is giant compared to the Malone family!

no one else would take pics with us so we made our own fun!

one of my kids is good

this one felt bad for me

in January I flew out to Texas to go wedding dress shopping with Hannah - first we had a little fun at the dueling piano bar!

one of my new friends

no sneak peaks of her dress...but she found the perfect one!

got back to KY from my trip to TX a day early due to snow and ice, then had a crazy week off of school this is how we spent it: coffee, NTI school work, snuggling out pets, and playing in the snow

Axel had a blast! He attacked -in fun- the sledders!

I tried a science experiment with the kids... pretty cool!

this boy was made for the snow!

Axel liked to attack the boys when they slid down! (that's a happy face on Keagan...)

NTI work during a snow day with her best friend!

Finley's indoor soccer team!

Cashing in on a Christmas present

Finn was picked as Ball Kid of the Game!

about to high-five Justin Morgan (Neely's boyfriend - now fiancé!)

"Shoes Up" during a free throw

Maclyn is loving the basketball game...

can't you tell?!

DUNKER!!

I ran into my sister Jessica!

we went to the women's basketball game the next day!

three cuties during the Lifewise open house!

In February our church went to the Nashville Zoo for an overnight trip for "Fifth Grade Frenzy" and got to check out the zoo at night and had some animal encounters. It was a great time with Finn.

This is an opossum! Isn't it "cute"??

We got to explore the zoo grounds at night, including this crazy old house of the original land owners!

Finn's sleeping arrangements by the giant snapping turtle Homer. We slept in the reptile house - I slept as far away from reptiles, spiders, or fish as I could!

Andean Bear

Watching the flamingos being released before the zoo opened was the highlight! They were so funny!

we also got to hang out with the kangaroos!

February at the zoo is not generally my idea of fun - I was scared I would freeze. I hate to be cold.  But the animals were crazy active, including the human animals! It was a really good time!

Finn hitting the gritty with the giraffe! (check out the girl with the giraffe - she got a kick out of this encounter!)

sleeping in a reptile house means not sleeping...

Keagan was allowed to jump on stage during youth group at church one night - not sure what was going on but these pictures made me laugh. I texted the youth pastor when I saw this and told him I was praying Keagan didn't break anything: the guitar, his neck, or any girl's hearts!

twin day at school! (or triplets)
