Spring Break 2024

Spring Break 2024 was a stay-cation for the Owens Family. Josh worked all week and so we played and tried to save money by staying close to home and checking off some boxes that make core memories for childhood! We ate Tater Day food, watched the Tater Day parade, celebrated Easter, painted pottery, and the girls learned to ride bikes without training wheels. We watched a total solar eclipse and also took the annual "children's tree" picture! Oh! And Keagan got braces! It was a lovely and simple break.

Tater Day corndogs for the win!

and a super expensive lemon shakeup

next up on our expensive fair food adventure: funnel cakes!

Keagan and some buddies went to ride Tater Day rides. Well, Keagan did not ride but chose to be the phone holder!

Ivy's Kindergarten class had an Easter Egg Hunt on the Friday before Spring Break - her teacher sent these to me

Happy Easter!!

Daddy was able to go to Easter Church but had to leave right after service - luckily we got our picture made with him

Ivy was a pro at learning to ride her bike without training wheels! It only took her a couple of attempts in the grass before she was asking to go on the pavement!

Ivy figured it out quick! While Maclyn did try, she was quick to say "I can't" and that is one phrase that makes me crazy. So I tabled working with her on this day...but Mac DID get it by the end of the week! Her video is below...
