Gettin' Fancy!

In March my good ol' friend Jessica Reed invited us to join her at a fundraising gala for childhood cancer. It was a fun opportunity to get all fancy and go out with my love. In a funny, spontaneous round-about way, another set of awesome friends got to go too! We had a really great time and enjoyed being adults for the evening.

Father-Daughter Dance x2 & Valentine's Day

In February Ivy got to go to her first Father-Daughter dance. She was too young to go to the one that Josh took Maclyn to last year, so this was her year! She was so excited and got a new dress and pretty gold shoes for the occasion! She even got to wear a little bit of makeup and that thrilled her! Josh said that Ivy was not a real party animal, she danced a couple dances then asked to go home. Maclyn had a very difficult time seeing Ivy go to a dance without her, but was reminded that she had her own special night coming up and it would be just her and Daddy. AND she got to go to her school with her friends! This helped some, but girlfriend has a jealous side. Both my baby girls looked beautiful all dolled up (Maclyn also got a new dress and shoes, and got her hair curled and special makeup) and their daddy didn't look too bad either! I love the look on both girl's face when their daddy is giving them attention. So sweet!! From the pictures you can see that Maclyn might be the life of the party! :)
