closing down Summer 2021 on KY Lake

That's a hard title to read...especially since we are currently closing down Summer 2022.. Here is a photo montage from the final boating of last summer!

Finn learned how to waterski!

We ran into Ms. Vallery! Long story, short: Ms. Vallery took care of baby Keagan at I-Kids. Then when  I went into labor with Finn, she saved our lives by coming to the hospital to take Keagan home with her because I went into labor in the middle of the night! The kids don't get it, but she is a gem to us!

Finally - some (2021) boating!

In the fall of 2020 we decided to sell our boat and upgrade. Our boat sold within 24 hours right before Labor Day weekend...I wasn't thrilled but the possibility of having a new boat by Memorial Day of the next year lessened the blow. Within a month or so of selling our first boat we ordered our second one, with an anticipated arrival of January 2021. Which turned into March of 2021 and then early May 2021, then mid June. To say I was frustrated is an understatement. It was the very middle of July (the 17th actually) when we finally got our boat. And then there were motor issues...but we don't have to talk about that because we got lucky that it was a "quick" fix that didn't require it to go into the shop. Despite only having a couple weeks of summer break left, we did as much boating as possible!!
