Halloween!

Halloween is a favorite in our family! And in my mind it is how we separate summer from the holiday season...a kick-off of sorts to the crazy busy time of the end of October through December. This year we decided to do a trunk for our church's trunk or treat. Then we got in some family time and carved pumpkins, ate charcuterie snackies and watched The Haunted Mansion. We had a great Halloween season and, even though it was hectic as usual with all the things on top of all the things, the kids enjoyed  dressing up and got too much candy!

Wizard of Oz was all Mac's idea...Ivy was on board of course, and I love any chance to  participate in Halloween. The boys (and Josh) were soooo hard to get to participate. 

Keagan had basketball practice right up to the start of Trunk or Treat so he just got a little "Tin Man" treatment. Baby Case playing Ninja Turtles with Keags.
