SPRING BREAK 2019!

A week or so before the boys' Spring Break Josh learned he was able to get some time off during that week. (background: Josh has to turn in vacation requests for the upcoming year in October/November. And while he requested Spring Break, he didn't get it.) So in a very last-minute effort to find something to do, and after lots of searching and pricing, we settled on Chattanooga. And I was able to find one last room in the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel. Our first day in Chattanooga, we basically walked around and scoped out the area and restaurants and hung out on the hotel grounds a bit. After supper we took the kids swimming in the indoor hotel pool. They all had a blast and asked to swim every single night! (Maclyn calls it the "meow meow pool" because a long time ago she heard us use the term "kiddy pool" and I guess she heard "kitty" and thus calls every pool a "meow meow pool")
