I know that we are more than half-way through June, but we had a lot of fun in May and I am going to rewind and jumble it all together so I can move forward. The month of May brought many walks in the park and around the neighborhood, play dates with friends, our first family hike (and Keagan did the whole thing on foot!), and even a visit from my Uncle Steve. It was a good month, that's for sure!
Annie came over to play!
Hopscotch basics:
Finn tested out what sidewalk chalk tasted like. He must have liked it because he continues to try and eat it.
A taste of what life is like with three babies (under three years old)...
It seemed OK that Oscar was riding in the wagon...at first...but then Annie flipped out. And our peaceful evening turned into just short of a fiasco. Partly because Annie flipped out and was whaling in the area of our neighborhood that echoes and partly because the dog (now out of the wagon) doesn't listen at all and nearly got hit by a van and then was nearly torn to shreds by the neighbor's big dog. So picture this, will you: woman with baby on front, two toddlers in wagon. One toddler all-out screaming, the other trying to get out of the wagon. Woman hollering at dog to "get back here" as a van approaches and is watching the people and not the dog. Dog is narrowly missed by van and then runs into neighbor's yard where big dog nearly mauls him. Meanwhile kid is still screaming and woman is still yelling. With baby strapped to her front. Elapsed time: 5 minutes. But my hollering sure did bring everyone out on their porches! Once we made it home, all in one piece, I was shaking, sweating, and we all went inside where it was safe.
Uncle Steve came for supper! And taught Keagan a secret handshake.
Lazy Saturday morning...daddy and his boys.
Hiking in LBL...we stopped to enjoy the view of the lake. And Keagan threw rocks into the water.

Loving all the pictures. So sorry you had a rough time with the dog, wagon full of kids and such. That sounds likes a few super tense minutes.
