Friendsgiving

Life gets pretty crazy once school and sports and all.the.things start back up. And before you get a chance to really breathe, it is the Holidays. Thanksgiving and Christmas bring a whole new level to the crazy, but makes getting together with friends even harder. Our group wasn't able to get a Halloween Party together (soccer tournaments, baseball tournaments, work, life....) but we were able to get together for a Friendsgiving! We decided that since Thanksgiving was usually full of the traditional foods, we would go non-trad with a baked potato bar! And each family brought a different topping and a dessert. We let the kids have the main level of the house to roam (brave, I know...but they actually were super good and nothing was destroyed!) and the adults holed up in the basement! We only let kids down for food and emergencies (which didn't happen). The food, the kids, the company and laughter was fantastic! And a bunch of the kids were asleep in various places when the adults emerged!

What's better than a large coloring page?! L to R: Ivy, Maclyn, Emery, Kayden, Finn, Annie, Charlee
